Company description
Zakłady Mechaniczne “Tarnów” S.A. has been performing the industrial activities continuously since 1917. The company has been manufacturing armament and military equipment since the 1950s.
The company’s flagship is a wide variety of armament and military equipment, with a particular focus on sniper rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, artillery mortars, anti-aircraft artillery-missile systems and training equipment.
Zakłady Mechaniczne “Tarnów” S.A. is recognized as a renowned supplier of military equipment to the Polish Armed Forces, uniformed services and other foreign recipients.
Such comprehensive offer is available due to permanent focus of the company on research and development as well as innovation of its products.
The established Research and Development Centre is capable of creating new product technologies for military and uniformed services and forms the basis for the company to strengthen its position among the Polish defence industry leaders. Own research and development facilities enable autonomous approach to development of military technique. The RDC has been working on comprehensive armament systems based on own structures of electronic components and software: military hardware and monitors, control manipulators, drives and operator desktops.
