Company description

SpecFile is the creator of the specfile.pl service, which encrypts files using a web browser or a downloadable application. This service was audited by the Military University of Technology, and its functionalities were developed within an NCBiR project in accordance with the conclusions of the WAT audit. At that time, a proprietary encryption library based on the elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) algorithm was also developed, under the supervision of Prof. Jerzy Gawinecki (WAT), and certified in 2022 by the National Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw.

In addition, we have developed a prototype server for efficient ECC encryption of mass correspondence.

The sygnanet.pl server, built for whistleblower support, is an example of End-to-End email, where correspondence is encrypted in the sender’s browser and decrypted in the recipient’s browser, while the server serves only as a storage for encrypted files. The server is used, among others, by the largest banks.

We have also developed an application for threshold encryption, where decrypting a file requires n out of m keys (n<m). We are willing to use our technologies for the needs of the defense sector.
