Company description
BUMAR-ŁABĘDY SA, based in Gliwice, is one of the companies making up the Polish Armaments Group. They are an entity counted among the companies of strategic importance for national defense. The company specializes in the production, overhaul and modernization of armored equipment. As the only plant in Poland, it has its own testing ground. The company specializes in the production, overhaul and modernization of armored equipment. Modernization packages and overhaul services for all types of armored vehicles include Leopard, PT-91, WZT-2 and WZT-3 Technical Security Vehicles and various types of T-72 family tanks. The company is the main contractor for the modernization of Leopard 2A4 tanks to the Leopard 2PL/M1 version. The plant also carries out technical inspections of Leopard 2A4 tanks at all service levels from F1 to F6.
With more than 70 years of experience in both production and technology, the company’s potential is created, and successive generations of armored equipment supplied to the Polish Army and foreign customers have established the company’s position in the domestic and global hardware and armaments market.
