Company description
Thorium Space S.A. is a Polish high-tech company founded in 2017. The company’s team consists of prominent space and defence technology engineers and experts in related fields. Thorium Space’s core business is the development of state-of-the-art satellite communications systems, in particular next-generation telecommunications payloads and satellite terminals. These solutions enable electronic beam steering, high-speed data transmission and operation in high frequency bands (Ku, Ka).
The company’s technological solutions are aimed at both the civil and institutional sectors. In the civil area, they cover the space, telecommunications, aerospace and maritime sectors, among others. In the government sector, they are aimed at public administration – including the uniformed services – and the armed forces.
Thorium Space focuses its activities on the domestic, European and global markets. The company is currently the only European manufacturer of BFIC beamforming ICs, serving two independent beams simultaneously, which translates into a significant technological advantage.
